Chassis
Frame & swingarm
The structure that ties everything together and gives the bike its rigidity.
How it works
The frame supports the engine, suspension, and wheels; the swingarm carries the rear wheel and pivots on bearings/bushings. Play in the swingarm or a bent frame (after an impact) destabilizes the bike. Any geometry defect calls for a specialist diagnosis.
Maintenance tips
- Check for play in the swingarm.
- After a fall, have the geometry checked.
