Terms of Use

By using MotoDiagnostic, you agree to these terms. Read them carefully: they define what the service offers, what it does not replace, and the community rules.

Last updated : 23 juin 2026.

1. Purpose

MotoDiagnostic is a free motorcycle self-diagnosis tool. It helps you start from a symptom, rule out causes using guided tests, and reach a possible solution. It is aimed at non-expert riders and is designed to help you understand, not to impose a technical action.

2. Access to the Service

The site is accessible free of charge. Certain features (synced logbook, community) require creating an account via a login link sent by email. You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep access to your mailbox confidential.

3. Expected Conduct

You agree to use the service in good faith and not to:

  • post unlawful, hateful, defamatory, or misleading content;
  • impersonate another person or disclose the personal data of third parties;
  • disrupt the operation of the site (spam, abusive automation, intrusion attempts);
  • repurpose the content for commercial purposes without authorization.

4. Community and Moderation

The community area operates with after-the-fact moderation. By posting, you agree that your content will be visible to other users and may be removed if it is manifestly unlawful or contrary to these terms. A reporting mechanism is available on every contribution; manifestly unlawful content that is reported is handled as promptly as possible, within 24 hours where feasible.

5. Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and your data at any time by writing to contact@moto-diagnostic.com. We reserve the right to suspend an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

6. Limitation of Warranty

MotoDiagnostic is a tool designed to help you understand your motorcycle: it does not replace the inspection or judgment of a certified mechanic. The suggestions provided are for informational purposes only, with no guarantee of accuracy for your specific motorcycle. Any work you carry out remains your own responsibility. If you're not sure, stop. It's better to spend €30 on a diagnostic than €300 on damage. Any step requiring specialized equipment will redirect you to a professional.

8. Changes to the Service

We may evolve the site, its features, and these terms. Substantial changes will be announced on the site. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the version in force.

9. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction.
